(1) Kalergi Plan - discrepancy at Wikipedia

- by Peter Myers, September 19, 2019

Wikipedia's page on Count Richard Nicolaus Coudenhove Kalergi, founder of the EU, is at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi

I first visited that page in 2017.

In 1925, Kelergi set out his ideas in a book called Practical Idealism (Praktischer Idealismus). It envisaged mass immigration into Europe, and the forming of a new, mixed-race European type similar to the Ancient Egyptians.

However, the current Wikipedia page suppresses this, and instead calls it a conspiracy theory.

It says:
{quote} Nazi criticism and propaganda against Coudenhove-Kalergi, and his European worldview, would decades later form the basis of the racist Kalergi plan conspiracy theory.[26] Nazis considered the Pan-European Union to be under the control of Freemasonry.[27]

But when I visited Wikipedia page on Kalergi in 2017, at the same address (above), it contained the following quote from Kalergi's book (which has since been removed):

In his book Praktischer Idealismus (Practical Idealism), written in 1925, he describes the future of Jews in Europe and of European racial composition with the following words:[45]

The man of the future will be of mixed race. Today's races and classes will gradually disappear owing to the vanishing of space, time, and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its appearance to the Ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of peoples with a diversity of individuals. [...]

Instead of destroying European Jewry, Europe, against its own will, refined and educated this people into a future leader-nation through this artificial selection process. No wonder that this people, that escaped Ghetto-Prison, developed into a spiritual nobility of Europe. Therefore a gracious Providence provided Europe with a new race of nobility by the Grace of Spirit. This happened at the moment when Europe's feudal aristocracy became dilapidated, and thanks to Jewish emancipation.

I always save the timestamp at the bottom of a Wikipedia page.

That came in handy yesterday morning (Sept 18, 2019) - when I found the quote from Praktischer Idealismus missing.

Wikipedia lets you look at previous version of the page, under Page History. I went there, and found the version for the date & time I had saved, 1 September 2017, at 17:55.

Lo and behold, the missing quote was there. You too can see it at

So how is that this is deemed a Conspiracy theory?

(2) Kalergi Plan Conspiracy Theory - 'akin to Protocols of Zion'

Wikipedia recently added a new webpage on Kalergi, called "Kalergi Plan" or Kalergi Conspiracy Theory. The history of the page says that it was created at 18:46 on 7 May 2019.

Here is the latest version:

Kalergi plan

The Kalergi plan (Italian: piano Kalergi), or sometimes called the Coudenhove-Kalergi Conspiracy,[1] is a far-right,[2] anti-semitic, white nationalist conspiracy theory,[3] which states that a plot to mix white Europeans with other races via immigration was constructed by Austrian politician Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi and promoted in aristocratic European social circles.[4] The conspiracy theory is most often associated with European groups and parties, but it has also spread to North American politics.[5]

Austrian writer and neo-Nazi Gerd Honsik wrote about the subject in his book Kalergi Plan (2005).[6] Investigative newspaper Linkiesta have described the Kalergi plan as a hoax which is comparable to the anti-semitic fabrication The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.[7]

The SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) denotes that the Kalergi plan conspiracy theory is a distinctly European way of pushing the narrative of white genocide on the continent, with white nationalists quoting Coudenhove-Kalergi's writings out of context in order to assert that the European Union's immigration policies were insidious plots that were hatched decades ago in order to destroy white people.[8] Hope Not Hate, an anti-racism advocacy group, has described it as a racist conspiracy theory, which alleges that Coudenhove-Kalergi intended to influence Europe's policies on immigration in order to create a "populace devoid of identity" which would then supposedly be ruled by a Jewish elite.[9]

In his 2018 novel Middle England, author Jonathan Coe uses the Kalergi plan to satirize the concept with his conspiracy theorist character Peter Stopes.[10]

Comment (Peter M.): Given that the current mass immigration into Europe seems to be fulfilling the "Kalergi Plan", might this indicate that the Protocols is genuine after all?

For a Debate about the the Protocols see protocols-debate.html.

(3) Quotes from Kalergi's book Practical Idealism

by Peter Myers, October 6, 2019

Kalergi is touted as the father of the EU: but did he plan to destroy European peoples? Or is this just a 'Conspiracy Theory'?

To decide, you need to read what he wrote in his book Praktischer Idealismus (1925). Below are some quotes from the English translation - the book Practical Idealism: The Kalergi Plan to destroy European peoples.

Is the subtitle warranted, or not?

Some quotes from Kalergi's book Practical Idealism are at Kalergi-quotes.doc.

I see no "conspiracy" in that book...in fact it is very similar to his Pan Europa.

Superior jewish thinkers will guide the world....ha ha ha...barely 10 years after it was published, Stalin started the great purges against the Zionist Bolcheviks...oh poor Khazars...

But definitely supremacist ideology and the crazy idea that somehow judaism and christianity are similar! And his lumping all christians together is a falacy...

Jesus kicked the merchants out of the Temple... The true hope of Jews is a worldly paradise for the body...the true hope of Catholics is eternal life...of the soul!

In any case, thanks for the summary...well done!

(5) Kalergi Plan - Where the Conspiracy Lies
- by Peter Myers, October 25, 2019

Kalergi's book Practical Idealism is quite interesting, and well-argued.

But it can be accused of Conspiracy on two counts:

(5.1) Race-Replacement

Race-Mixing and Race-Replacement are two different things.

On a small scale, race-mixing is no problem; but Numbers make the difference.

It is one thing to accept individuals of different races into one's community. Oswald Spengler and Friedrich Nietzsche had no problem with that; only Hitler did.

It is another matter to accept so many persons of other races and cultures, that one's own becomes diluted and swamped.

Kalergi wrote,

"Today's races and castes will fall victim to the increased overcoming of space, time and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its features to the ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of nations with a diversity of "personalities"." (pp. 28-9).

He gave the Russian people as a model for such race-mixing, because they are a mix of Slavic, Tatar and Finnish.

But that happened because they were conquered by Mongol empires for over 200 years.

To achieve the result Kalergi predicts, he is implicitly assuming an Open Borders immigration policy which amounts to invasion.

This has been bourne out in recent years. The Jewish Lobby pushed the West into wars against Israel's enemies (Iraq, Syria, Libya, Iran); then the Globalists (Soros & Rothschild) and the Green Left demanded open borders to accept refugees fleeing from those wars.

Anyone who objected was branded a racist and Nazi.

(5.2) Jews as the Aristocracy of the Mind

Jew ARE an intellectual people, but their lobbies use that in blinkered and selfish ways.

The Jewish Lobby in the USA has pressured Congress and Presidents into making Israel the largest recipient of Foreign Aid, for decades, even though it is a wealthy country with hi-tech industry, that spies on Western countries, uses their passports for Mossad assassinations, and has repeately attacked its neighbours. The massive aid to Israel should have been going to poor countries instead. Where is the famous 'Jewish internationalism'?

Americans are mostly unaware of the extent of that Aid, because the Jewish-owned & controlled media buries it.

What about the Jewish Left - the Globalists and Green Left? They too keep quiet about Israel's hijacking of the American foreign-aid budget.

(6) Kalergi's association with Jewish Bankers (Louis de Rothschild, Max Warburg, Bernard Baruch)

Wikipedia's webpage on Kalergi says:

According to his autobiography, at the beginning of 1924 his friend Baron Louis de Rothschild introduced him to Max Warburg who offered to finance his movement for the next three years by giving him 60,000 gold marks. Warburg remained sincerely interested in the movement for the remainder of his life and served as an intermediate for Coudenhove-Kalergi with influential Americans such as banker Paul Warburg and financier Bernard Baruch.

(7) Kalergi's Masonic connections

The above Wikpedia webpage also says:

Nazis considered the Pan-European Union to be under the control of Freemasonry.[27] In 1938, a Nazi propaganda book Die Freimaurerei: Weltanschauung, Organisation und Politik was released in German.[28] It revealed Coudenhove-Kalergi's membership of Freemasonry, the organization suppressed by Nazis.[29] On the other hand, his name was not to be found in Masonic directories 10,000 Famous Freemasons published in 19571960 by the United States' freemasons.[30] He had already left the Viennese Masonic Lodge in 1926 to avoid the criticism that had occurred at that time against the relationship between the Pan-European movement and Freemasonry. He wrote about his Masonic membership in Ein Leben für Europa (A Life for Europe) published in 1966.[31] In fact, its Nazi propaganda book also described his action in 19241925 only. However, this propaganda also stated that "The Grand Lodge of Wien went enthusiastically to work for the Pan European Union in a call to all Masonic chief authorities. Even the Masonic newspaper The Beacon enthused about the thoughts of the higher degree Freemason Coudenhove-Kalergi, and stated in March 1925: "Freemasonry, especially Austrian Freemasonry, may be eminently satisfied to have Coudenhove-Kalergi among its members. Austrian Freemasonry can rightly report that Brother Coudenhove-Kalergi fights for his Pan European beliefs: political honesty, social insight, the struggle against lies, striving for the recognition and cooperation of all those of good will. In this higher sense, Brother Coudenhove-Kalergi's program is a Masonic work of the highest order, and to be able to work on it together is a lofty task for all brother Masons.""[32]

(8) Kalergi's Jewish wives & other ties

Ben Steigmann sent me the following webpage about Kalergi, before he (Ben) decided to return to Jewish identity. His last email said, "Fuck off from these emails, I'm a Jew."

He married the 13 year older Jewess Ida Roland [born Ida Klausner] a popular actress with whom he has two sons. Ida Roland died in 1951. In 1952 he married Alexandra Gräfin von Tiele, born Bally. In 1969 he married the Austrian Jewess Melanie Benatzky Hoffmann.

Count R. N. Courdenhove-Kalergi is seen by many as the father of the modern European Union. It was him who suggested Beethovens hymn as the EU's national anthem, and was very active in connection with the design of the EU logo which contains 12 stars which symbolize the 12 tribes of Israel. The logo was finalized by the Jew Paul M.G. Lévi. 2)

Otto von Habsburg was Coudenhove-Kalergi's successor as president of the Pan European Union. He is a honorary professor of the University of Jerusalem, and recipient of the 'International Humanitarian Award', of the 'Anti Defamation-League' (ADL) of the Jewish B'nai B'rith Masonery Lodge.

Coudenhove-Kalergi's father was a close friend of Theodor Herzl, the founder of Zionism

(9) Kalergi "United States of Europe rooted in Catholic spirituality"

Subject: Re: Kalergi Plan - No Conspiracy? From: Leland Lehrman <rll@fund-balance.com>

Consider taking a look at Rudolf Steiner's comments on Kalergi. They are insightful and perhaps will provide depth.

See for example this article:

"In 1922-23, when Rudolf Steiner was speaking about the need for a new, threefold social order in Europe based on the threefold picture of Man, Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi (1894-1972), (left) an aristocrat with family roots deep in Lotharingia, began a contrary movement; his 1923 manifesto Paneuropa advocated a United States of Europe rooted in Catholic spirituality and exclusive of both Britain and Russia. The honorary President of the Paneuropa Union today is Otto von Habsburg, son of the last Habsburg Emperor. Coudenhove-Kalergi's efforts gave birth to the Council of Europe, which since its founding in 1949, has concerned itself with the cultural and political direction of the emerging European superstate. Coudenhove's goal of uniting Europe through traditional concepts of culture failed in face of the dominant economic drives of the post-war years, which were understood by the businessman and technocrat Jean Monnet. It was Monnet's economic path to European union, via the reconstruction of Lotharingia, which supplanted Coudenhove-Kalergi's Vatican-oriented initiatives in 1945-50. But what was common to both these two very different individuals was their strong personal links to Washington and the American elite. Without backing from that quarter, neither of them would have succeeded. As it is, aspects of the symbology of Coudenhove-Kalergi's movement the EU flag and anthem, for example and the European Parliament have been grafted in an almost marxist superstructural sense onto the economic infrastructural machine generated by Monnet and his allies.

(10) Why then, is the EU forcing Gay Marriage on Hungary, Poland & other Catholic countries?
- Peter Myers, October 8, 2019

If the EU is based on Catholicism, as the above article states, why is the EU forcing Gay Marriage on Hungary, Poland & other Catholic countries?

Why is it promoting a Culture War on traditional values? This is Marxist (Trotskyist), not Catholic.

Why does it have an Open Borders immigration policy, such that the Dalai Lama warned about it on at least TWO occasions. He is all too familiar with the mass migration of Han Chinese into Tibet.

The fact is that Catholicism is just a mask for policies of the Jewish Globalist Green Left.

The EU can be saved - but only by jettisoning those policies, and making its structure democratic.

As part of this process, Viktor Orban and Marine Le Pen would be welcomed as saviours, not pariahs.

Coudenhove-Kalergi, Heinrich Von°

COUDENHOVE-KALERGI, HEINRICH VON ° (18591906), Austrian diplomat, philosopher, and author. He professed to having been an antisemite in his youth, but during a sojourn in Turkey and Japan became interested in Oriental religions and consequently in the Jewish legacy. Among 26 languages he knew Hebrew, which he acquired from the rabbi of Pobezovice (Ronsperg). Jewish scholars, among them Armand Aharon *Kaminka, were frequently guests at his castle. A practicing Roman Catholic, he used to leave mass demonstratively on Good Friday at the prayer for "perfidious Jews." In 1901 he published Das Wesen des Anti-semitismus (Eng. ed. 1935, Anti-semitism throughout the Ages), one of the most successful non-literary anti-antisemitic works of the 20th century. In this book he expressed the view that the Jews had always been a minority, first as monotheists in a polytheistic world, and later as non-Christians in a Christian world. He denied the validity of race and regarded the antisemitic movement in his day as a result of envy, semi-education, and intolerance. At present its root lay in the fanaticism instilled in the child when taught that the Jews had crucified Christ. Coudenhove welcomed Zionism but thought that Palestine was unsuitable for its aims. He suggested progressive assimilation for Western Jews and the founding of a Jewish state for East European Jews. An unsatisfactory solution of the Jewish question would endanger the future of Western civilization. His Judaic library and manuscripts were deposited in the synagogue of Pobezovice and destroyed with it by the Nazis in 1938. His son, richard nicholas (18941972), was the founder of the Pan-European movement after World War i. He re-edited his father's book with a preface of his own (1923), and in 1937 published Judenhass, in which he states that antisemitism in the 1920s had developed mainly as a weapon against Marxism {i.e. Bolshevism} and was an outcome of the pauperization of Central Europe. Zionism had turned the Jews from a despised caste into a hated nation. Basically the Jewish question was only one of the minority problems. It would find its solution when "nation" became a cultural definition rather than one of blood (see *Autonomism; S. *Dubnow). In 1937 he suggested Jewish colonization of Rhodesia, assuming that Great Britain might be interested in easing her position in Palestine in this way. His first wife, the Viennese actress Ida Roland (18841951), was of Jewish origin.
