Purim and the Iran War

The Iraq War of 2003 began on Purim; the Iran War of 2026 also began on Purim.
In 2003, the Jewish holy day of Purim began on March 17 and ended on March 18: https://www.hebcal.com/holidays/purim-2003. The invasion of Iraq began on March 20. It wasn't a war for oil, but to defeat Israel's enemy.

Trump did NOT decide on the date of the attack; Israel did. Are we fighting religious wars to defeat Israel's enemies, in the pretence that we are fighting tyranny?
Ezra's version of the Jewish religion depicts Jews as persecuted victims.

Historically, some of them happened, and some did not. But even the ones that did occur, such as Hitler's, were reactions to previous events, such as the Red Terror.
What is "the Exodus", if not escape from a Holocaust in Ancient Egypt? What is "the Return" from Babylon, if not escape from the Holocaust of the Assyrian Empire?
The Purim feast is celebrated as deliverance from a would-be Holocaust in the Persian Empire. The Roman suppression of the Jewish uprising of 66-70 AD was also a Holocaust.
These holocausts are celebrated in Jewish holy days:
- the Exodus from Egypt is commemorated in the Passover feast
- Esther's deliverance of the Jews of the Persian Empire is commemorated in the Purim feast. It celebrates the massacre of 75,000 Persians by Jews in a pre-emptive strike. Yet apart from the Bible (which is polemical rather than a history book), there is no evidence that these events took place. There is no record of Esther, the Jewish heroine, in Persian writings; Esther is an Aramaic name for the goddess Ishtar. Mordecai, the name of the Jewish male hero, is an Aramaic name for the god Marduk. It looks as if Judaism has made an event that never happened into a national festival that penetrates deep into its psyche, like the Exodus, which also never happened.
- the victory of Judah of Maccabee over the Syrian and Greek armies of 167 B.C. It is commemorated in the Hanukkah holy day, the Feast of Lights. This depicts the Maccabean Jews (who supported separatism) as heroes and the Hellenistic Jews (who supported assimilation) as traitors.
- the uprising against Rome, culminating in Masada. It is commemorated when new soldiers entering the Israeli army are inducted at Masada. Israel's wars since its re-creation in 1948 are a continuation of its uprisings against Rome in 66-70 and 135 AD.
Temple Mount Faithful (TMF), who want to build the Third Temple on the site of Al Aqsa Mosque (after pulling it down), depict Jewish history as a series of Holocausts. On the one hand, the Mission; on the other, the Holocausts as a reaction against it. Antisemitism is a way of defining Ezra's version of Judaism.
Once a Jewish person stops thinking in terms of Victimhood, Holocausts and Redemption, can he or she remain Jewish? Only by abandoning Ezra's version for another, e.g. Akhenaten's universalist monotheism, which Sigmund Freud saw as the true beginning of Judaism.

Many people in Western countries applaud the defeat of the United States in this war because it's a ZOG (Zionist-Occupied Government). Both Tehran and Tel Aviv are being destroyed; the media show one but not the other. Fewer tears are shed for the demolition of Israel, after its genocide in Gaza.

The meaning is that the Iran war is the war for the Third Temple, which (they deem) requires demolition of the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa mosque. Ehud Olmert says that Israel's government is Messianic and Insane. US soldiers have been told that this it's the End-Times War, the Armageddon war.
